Stop Crime SF had an Interesting Anti-Crime Meeting

Our first in-person meeting ever, was a great success! The Vice President of Stop Crime SF Eric Chang was the moderator of the the event. Keynote speaker Supervisor Joel Engardio gave us an update about the state of safety in San Francisco. Captain Jack Hart of the Park Station spoke about SFPD. Frank Noto, our President made remarks as well. Court Watch Coordinator Hatun Noguera gave a 10 minute explanation of how that import program works, and that we are looking for new volunteers. Susan and Ed Fisch introduced a new program we have just started, called “Judge Report Card”. Nadia Rahman presented the findings of the survey we sent out to our membership list about the concerns of our supporters. She also led us through a visioning exercise, where the audience gave ideas as to how to expand our focus and how some new programs might be beneficial. More to follow on those ideas.

We had media coverage from KPIX CBS news and KTVU television, among others.

Thank you to all who attended!
