About Us
Stop Crime SF is dedicated to making San Francisco safer for everyone. We work to advance effective public-safety policies, strengthen accountability throughout the criminal justice system, and promote practical solutions that prevent crime and improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
Through community engagement, education, and greater transparency, we bring residents, public officials, law enforcement, and community partners together to address public-safety challenges and help build a safer, more accountable San Francisco.
Our Vision
We envision a San Francisco where every resident feels safe, neighborhoods thrive, and families and small businesses flourish. We believe lasting public safety requires effective law enforcement, accountability throughout the criminal justice system, and meaningful investment in public safety. Through responsible leadership, community collaboration, and practical solutions, we strive for a safer, stronger, and more vibrant San Francisco for everyone.
Our Approach
We believe a safer San Francisco begins with accountability, transparency, and effective public-safety policies. Every part of the criminal justice system—including law enforcement, prosecutors, public defenders, and judges—must be held to high standards of fairness, responsibility, and public trust.
Through our Court Watch program, we promote transparency by monitoring court proceedings, tracking outcomes, and keeping the public informed. We support appropriate consequences for criminal behavior, effective rehabilitation programs, and meaningful support for victims of crime.
We believe public resources should be directed toward proven solutions that prevent crime, reduce repeat offenses, and strengthen neighborhood safety. By promoting accountability, informed civic engagement, and collaboration, we work toward a safer San Francisco for everyone.
